Congratulations to Paige Mills, our wonderful Syracuse Program Director, who has won the Service to People with Disabilities Award from the USTA Eastern Section.

“I was surprised, and I was confused at first because I thought it was for the program, “she laughed. “But I’m so happy because it highlights the program, and it’s my main goal.”

As a parent of a child with autism, she has seen the benefits of this program and decided to start her own in 2016. “It changes the people who help the program just as much as it changes the athletes,” she explains. “Some of them might not have interacted with someone with autism and they go from not knowing to knowing and to including, so that piece of it is so important.”

Please, join us in congratulating Paige on this well deserved award!
