INTERCOLLEGIATE TENNIS ASSOCIATION & ACEING AUTISM PARTNERSHIP

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting partnership between ACEing Autism and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)! The governing body of college tennis and a coaches association, ITA is both an advocate and an authority for the sport and its members. The ITA is committed to serving college tennis and returning the leaders of tomorrow while promoting both the athletic and academic achievements of the collegiate tennis community.

Encouraging More Inclusive Tennis Communities On College Campuses

Through this collaboration, both organizations aim to allow college programs to engage in community service in fulfilling ways that support their athletic and professional development to expand tennis engagement while enriching the lives of children with autism. The collaboration offers college students a unique blend of competitive play and impactful community service, fostering social skills, confidence, and coordination in participating children.

How to Get Involved

1. Volunteer at an existing local community program. 

2. Develop a new program on campus or in the community

  • ACEing provides full guidance and support.
  • All equipment, training, and marketing are provided
  • Opportunities for extra support: partner with Tennis on
    Campus club teams, neurology/medical/kinesiology/physical education academic departments

Steps to Start a Program

Step 1

Review the website, First Serve Manual, and videos to familiarize yourself with ACEing Autism.


4-6 months before launch

Step 2

Complete our Program Director Application and schedule an introduction meeting with our Programs Team.

4-5 months before launch

Step 3

Begin program setup, including marketing, recruiting, and training.



3-4 months before launch

Step 4

Virtual Autism and curriculum training takes place.




1-2 months before launch

Step 5

ACEing Autism conducts in-person training and launches your program.
