Ellington athletic club to open up the world of tennis to kids with autism

Ellington tennis players are excited to welcome new participants with autism to the sport. The Ellington Racquet Club, opening this fall with tennis and pickleball courts, will begin offering an athletic program in October for people with autism. It will be modeled on ACEing Autism, a national volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children with autism grow, develop, and benefit from social connections through the sport of tennis.

ACEing Autism currently has Connecticut programs running in North Haven, Farmington, the Lakeville section of Salisbury, and West Hartford
