Program Directors
Trey Mihal
Trey fell in love with tennis at the age of eight. Originally from San Diego, he played on his high school team and continued to pick up a racket occasionally until moving to Los Angeles in November 2021. His passion for the sport was reignited when he joined the Los Angeles Tennis Association (LATA), an LGBTQIA+ tennis organization, to meet new friends.
While playing in a tournament at the Burbank Tennis Center, Trey noticed a banner for ACEing Autism. Given his professional background as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2015, the organization offered the perfect opportunity to combine his two passions. He began volunteering with the Burbank program in 2022 and expanded his reach as the Regional Program Director for Southern California in late 2023. In this role, he focuses on broadening the organization’s impact and witnessing the growth of participants, especially those with higher support needs.
Trey’s motto for his volunteers is: “Each participant has the ability to learn; we, as coaches, need to figure out how that participant learns best.”
Outside of ACEing Autism, Trey works full-time as a Behavior Analyst for Easterseals Southern California. He remains an active competitor, playing weekly in LATA and USTA leagues and competing regularly in GLTA World Tour tournaments.
Brooke Fennell
Brooke has been passionate about tennis since she was five years old, and she brings that enthusiasm to her role as Burbank Program Director with ACEing Autism, a position she has held since Fall 2021. Originally from Rhode Island, Brooke played varsity tennis for the University of Rhode Island and also coached at Warwick Country Club, where she developed players of all ages. A multi-sport athlete, she also enjoys hockey, skiing, and softball.
Since Brooke and Trey’s involvement in the Burbank program, it has grown by two-thirds, a reflection of their commitment to ACEing Autism’s mission. In addition to Brooke’s work in athletics, she spent many years as the Director and Choreographer for RI Youth Theatre, working with children in the performing arts. She finds the most rewarding part of her work with ACEing Autism to be watching the players form new friendships and build confidence both on and off the court.
Outside of ACEing Autism, Brooke works full-time in the entertainment industry and is pursuing her dream of becoming a Hollywood producer. As the Regional Program Director for Southern California, she is dedicated to expanding ACEing Autism’s impact and connecting even more children through the sport of tennis.
Seth Lindenfeld
Seth is thrilled to step into his role as Program Director for ACEing Autism Burbank. A lifelong tennis player, Seth loves the sport for its unique blend of strategy, athleticism, and the lasting friendships it builds both on and off the court. As a member of his school’s varsity tennis team, his passion for the game continues to grow.
In his sophomore year, Seth joined Best Buddies, a club devoted to fostering friendships between individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). ACEing Autism provided the perfect opportunity for him to combine his love for tennis with his commitment to inclusivity and community. From his very first day volunteering, he felt an instant connection with the kids and the organization’s inspiring mission.
As the Program Director for Burbank ACEing Autism, Seth is eager to make a lasting impact by sharing the joy of tennis and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.
