Program Directors

Barb Whitman

Barb Whitman is the Principal/Lead Facilitator of EFFECTIV-ity ~ a specialized Training and Consulting company that focuses on Leadership and Employee Empowerment. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education/EHI and loves working with children. On the tennis court, Barb loves to focus on helping autistic children learn how to play tennis. She has a passion for teaching and loves seeing kids laugh and smile as they gain a new level of confidence with their improved eye/hand coordination and relationship-building skills. She understands the need to tailor the skill building session(s) to a child’s individual needs and seeks to create a fun environment where kids can focus and learn at the same time! She’s been a Guardian ad Litem for the past four (4) years and is an active Volunteer within the local Community.

Eric Sajowitz

Coach Eric brings an impressive tennis background having worked at several award-winning resorts, clubs, and hotels across the nation; he is a PTR Certified Professional with over two decades of coaching experience, currently head tennis coach at Freeport High School, FL.  Eric was a steadfast volunteer with ACeing Autism in 2019, and is excited to share his level of passion/directorship within Walton County & the Defuniak Springs community!  Most notably, he serves as a member of the United States Air Force Reserve at the 403rd Wing, Keesler AFB, MS.
