Program Directors

Claire Desbans

I am a current sophomore at Northwestern University studying Neuroscience and Business Institutions on the pre-med track. I started ACEing Autism my freshman year of high school at Sage Hill School in Newport Beach, CA and continued to volunteer up to my junior year when Covid-19 hit. I felt so lucky to be a part of this great organization and to give back to my community that I wanted to give that same experience to my peers here at Northwestern. This is my first year starting ACEing Autism with my co-founder, Melanie, and am excited to see it grow over the next couple years.

Melanie Du

Hi, my name is Melanie! I am a sophomore at Northwestern University in the class of 2025, studying Cognitive Science and Chemistry. Along with Claire, I founded the Evanston program this year and we are super excited for our first season!
