Program Director

Cyrus Ghaffari

Cyrus is a senior at Los Altos High School, where he has played on the varsity tennis team since freshman year and is currently serving as captain. He is deeply passionate about both tennis and working with children, which inspired him to become a volunteer coach with ACEing Autism in the fall of 2021. Through this role, Cyrus has developed a strong commitment to supporting neurodiverse children, helping them build skills, confidence, and a sense of community through the sport. His dedication to sharing his love for tennis extends beyond just teaching the fundamentals of the game—he strives to instill a lifelong appreciation for the sport, showing children how tennis can offer both personal growth and joy. Outside of tennis, Cyrus enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new cuisines, and listening to music. He also works at Mountain View Tennis, coaching children in camps and clinics, where he continues to foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. Having competed in USTA tournaments for many years, Cyrus is excited to inspire the next generation of tennis players by making the sport fun, accessible, and impactful for young people from all backgrounds.

Assistant Program Director

Vera Lin

Vera is a senior at Los Altos High School and has played tennis ever since she was little. She’s been a volunteer coach for ACEing Autism since the fall of 2022. She also volunteers for the Magical Bridge Foundation where she has acted as a volunteer coach for children with disabilities, since the fall of 2023. Vera enjoys sharing her passion for tennis with others and working with kids to bring a smile to their faces.

Assistant Program Director

Mark Beliaev

Mark Beliaev is a senior at Los Altos High School, where he has played for the school team since freshman year. Mark has a strong passion for tennis and working with kids, which inspired him to join the ACEing Autism family in the Fall of 2022, later receiving the Assistant Program Director Role in the Spring of 2023. Since then, he has been a dedicated volunteer, whose leadership qualities and caring attitude help create a welcoming environment and have inspired many other volunteers. Outside of ACEing Autism, Mark is an active member of a tutoring club at Los Altos High School that provides tutoring services for underprivileged children. Apart from tennis, Mark loves spending time watching movies with his family, going on hikes, and going to the gym. Being able to share his passion for tennis and nurture an environment that embraces diversity are all things that Mark finds very rewarding, motivating him to be the best coach possible.
