ACEing Autism strives to keep costs affordable for families and can provide an ACEing Autism scholarship to families in financial need. We also offer information on the Dick’s Sporting Goods Grant for those that qualify.

Helene Schulwolf

My name is Helene Schulwolf and I am a rising Junior at Tulane double majoring in Psychology and Linguistics with a minor in American Sign Language (ASL). I plan to go to graduate school after Tulane and become a speech pathologist. I have worked with children with Autism for the past 9 years and have been volunteering with ACEing Autism for the last 3 years. I am excited to step into this new role and expand the New Orleans program! 

Sydney Wurtzel

Hi! My name is Sydney Wurtzel, and I am a rising junior at Tulane University majoring in Psychology with a minor in Business. I have worked with children who have Autism for the past 8 years and have volunteered with ACEing Autism for the last 2. I played tennis competitively all throughout high school. I aspire to work with kids in the future.

Julia Romagnoli

My name is Julia Romagnoli and I am a junior at Tulane University double majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. After college, I plan on pursuing a Clinical Psychology PhD with the long term goal of becoming a pediatric neuropsychologist. I have been a volunteer for ACEing Autism for the past three years and now am one of the program directors. I am very passionate about this organization and am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of it. I am looking forward to continuing teaching tennis to kids while having fun!
