Scholarships
ACEing Autism strives to keep costs affordable for families and can provide an ACEing Autism scholarship to families in financial need. We also offer information on the Dick’s Sporting Goods Grant for those that qualify.
Program Directors
Rachel Bloch
Rachel is a certified tennis instructor and teaches group and private lessons in Maryland and Washington, DC. Rachel has many years experience teaching tennis to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Rachel’s students learn tennis, athletic, and social skills in a fun, energetic, and positive environment. Rachel is eager to share her love of the game with children of all abilities and differences.
Lynn Gertzog
Lynn is a longtime recreational player and tennis advocate. She connected with ACEing Autism while working for the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section. When she became manager of an indoor tennis center in her own community, she brought ACEing Autism to that facility, where it ran for nearly three years until the pandemic shut down classes and she retired. Lynn returned to ACEing Autism the following year when her colleague Rachel secured a wonderful new outdoor venue for the program in Washington, DC. The program has since expanded to multiple seasons and indoor locations in the DC area. As Co-Program Director, Lynn handles marketing/social media, parent communications, and participant registration. She loves seeing firsthand and hearing from families how ACEing Autism brings joy and builds confidence on and off the tennis court.
