Program Notes
Our programs are inclusive to all who want to participate. However, this program location does require that participants be somewhat independent and can remain with the activity with verbal direction/redirection, as we do not provide 1:1 supervision, nor do we allow external 1:1’s to come to our program at this time.

Registration
Registration will be completed through Brightwheel. You will be required to create an account before signing up for the 5-week session. Simply click “Parent” when you open the link and proceed with registration.

Scholarships
ACEing Autism strives to keep costs affordable for families and can provide an ACEing Autism scholarship to families in financial need. We also offer information on the Dick’s Sporting Goods Grant for those that qualify.

Program Director

Emily Werman

Emily Werman began volunteering with ACEing Autism at The Help Group in 2008 when she was a student at The Help group. She is now substitute teaching at The Help Group while continuing to study for her teaching exams for graduate school. In 2018 she took on a larger leadership role to become one of the amazing Program Directors at The Help Group in Sherman Oaks, CA. Being an educator in the field of special education and being able to bring ACEing Autism to the school has been a truly gratifying experience for Emily. ACEing autism not only helps her students connect with physical fitness but also to learn and grow in many important areas including communication, language, social and emotional skills. She is an amazing tennis player herself and is currently pursuing her teaching credential at Cal Lutheran University.
