Program Director

Eli Zausner

Eli is currently a freshman at Tenafly High School in Tenafly NJ. Like his brother Sam, he too loves tennis, and has worked with neurodiverse youth at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades for two years. He was the perfect person to help Sam launch this chapter of ACEing Autism at the Kaplen JCC, and he plans to continue the program once Sam heads off to college in two years.

Program Director

Samuel Zausner

Sam is currently a junior at Tenafly High School in Tenafly N.J. The combination of his love of tennis, working with kids in a variety of capacities, and his desire to launch a “business”, and the large neuro-diverse population of his home county,  made starting a chapter of ACEing Autism a perfect initiative for Sam. Sam volunteers in several capacities. He teaches tennis to underserved youth communities, is an assistant kindergarten teacher at his former religious school and volunteers for the USTA’s Eastern Jr Council helping to grow the sport of tennis. As a Program Director for  ACEing Autism, he draws on all of these skills seamlessly.

“This has been an incredible set of sessions”, said Sam Zausner, 16 year old Program Director for the Tenafly program at the Kaplen JCC,” and we feel privileged to be able to run it at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades. NJ has such a high population of neuro-diverse kids, and it is awesome to be able to combine my love of tennis, with helping others. We were able to gather a great group of participants and volunteers, at a great venue,  and together we all really care about making an impact in our community.”
