Program Directors

Isabella Puglisi

I am the Co-Program Director for the Waltham program at Bentley University alongside Jessica Jara, as well as the Co-Program Director for the Fort Lauderdale Pickleball ACEing Autism program and the Miami Gardens Tennis ACEing Autism program alongside Josh and Jeremy Rosner.

At Bentley University, I am majoring in Finance and International Relations as part of both the Women’s Global Scholars Program and the Honors College. I also work as a Program Manager for the university’s Civic and Service Engagement Center.

I spent the last year working for J&J Green Paper, where I helped build partnerships and support the company’s global growth. My focus was on strengthening relationships with clients, partners, and vendors while helping expand the company’s international presence.

Jessica Jara

Born and raised in Miami, FL and now a student at Boston University, Jessica has been volunteering with ACEing Autism since June of 2022 and is a Program Director alongside her childhood friend in Waltham, Massachusetts.

At Boston University, she is majoring in Environmental Analysis and Policy with a minor in Urban Affairs and Remote Sensing. She is vice president of her a cappella group BU Forte, a committee member of the Big Little program for the Hispanic Student Association, is a lights and sound technical crew member for BU on Broadway’s musical productions, and is an active member of the BU Urbanists club. Additionally, she works at the Wheelock Family Theater as an usher and greeter.

When she’s not volunteering with ACEing Autism, she often volunteers at Feeding South Florida, Rosie’s Place, and at her local Church as a choir cantor.

At ACEing Autism, her passion lies in ensuring each child can take away something positive from each session: whether it’s a good round of volleys or simply engaging in fun conversations with their volunteer, their joy is her joy. She looks forward to learning, laughing, and staying active with each participant and volunteer.
